NITNC Meeting Minutes 11 - 14 Ė 2017

Terry Deno opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. 80 Attendees
Our new banner is displayed outside the church to advertise our meeting. Mark Davies donated the poles and anchors for the sign. It will be displayed each month at our meetings.

Barnes Road is now completed. Because of the steep grade, the speed limit going up to Strong Rd. will be 30 mph. The speed limit going down will be 25 mph.

The Morningside case is still in the Appellate Court. Hopefully we will know something in January.

Jeanine McKinney reported a current balance of $ 6,577.67 in the account.

Mark Davies reported for the Community Assembly. The Winter Season for the implementation of the Cityís New Snow Plan begins tomorrow, Nov. 15th. Vehicles are asked to park on the odd side of the street all season long. RVís and Boats are restricted from parking on the streets for the season.

Officer Doug Strohsal said there were 4 burglaries and 2 vehicle prowlings reported since October in our area. He encouraged everyone to call and report all property crimes.

Chad Johnson talked about the STA proposed Bus Route Changes for2018. There are plans to expand some services for Route 23 Maple/Ash. The full preliminary proposal is available at: http://spokanetransit.com/input. There is a survey included for feedback from the public.

Dennis Crapo presented some information on the McCarrol 5th Addition along Indian Trail Rd. Todd Whipple, the engineer for the project answered some questions. The plans are for a total of about 363 units. Duplexes will run parallel to Indian Trail Rd. Single family homes (estimated values of $300,000-$400,000) are planned for above (east) of the duplexes.

Terry closed the meeting at 8:00 p.m. The next meeting will be January 9th, 2018.
