Curt Fackler, Chairman, welcomed the 38+ attendees. He gave a brief update on the Barnes Road LLC lawsuit. He gave an update on concerns about low level Child Molesters being housed at Excelsior and said that the Executive Director would come to our March meeting to discuss in more detail.

Jim Bakke provided an update on Community Assembly activities. He announced that the Neighborhood Policing program may be reinstated, and that the Traffic Hotline could be reached at 625-4150.

Diana Postlewait reported we have $2580.77 in our treasury.
Walt Jones, NOP Representative gave a Crime Update. We had 2 assaults near McDonalds, 4 burglaries, 1 malicious mischief, 2 thefts, and 2 vehicle prowling. He warned to keep our garage doors closed.

Bob Turner and Lisa Jones, City of Spokane, gave a presentation on the possible solutions to the problem of parking on the each side of the narrow two level Weiber Drive eastward and westward streets.

Dr. Anderson, District 81, gave a presentation on the Spokane School District Levy that will be coming before the voters on 2-14-12.

Dennis Morford, resident and Retired Traffic Engineer, discussed the possible traffic calming projects that the neighborhood might submit as proposals for spending the Photo Red money.

City Council District 3 Representatives, Nancy McGlaughlin, and Steve Salvatori, made brief statements and provided their contact information.
